In Monterey in California, she launched the GIFFT wine label in partnership with Scheid Family Vineyards. In the past, she directed her first film together with Nicole C. Mullen in the short film THE GOD THAT SEES. In the film, the pair composed the soundtrack together. Gifford is a patron of numerous organizations that help children, such as Childhelp or the Association to Benefit Children. Both Cassidy's Place & Cody House are named in honor of her two daughters. She's a dedicated human rights activist and was awarded an honorary degree in labor relations from Marymount University.
